Kyra Solutions’ IntelliConnect Solution was selected for the Florida Turnpike Central Florida – Orange County Project

The Florida Turnpike Enterprise (FTE) selected Kyra Solutions’ IntelliConnect software for the Connected Vehicle Device Interface Management system. This system will be used for managing, monitoring, and configuring multi-vendor roadside infrastructure devices and systems, including in-cabinet equipment, Roadside Units (RSUs), sensors (Lidar, cameras, radar), and other Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) hardware. 

Kyra Solutions’ IntelliRoad division will provide IntelliConnect software and IntelliConnect Edge (IVP Hub) devices for managing connected vehicles data, management of the applications at the edge, and broadcasting of Traveler Information Message to the RSUs based on configured rules in the central software. It also includes integrating with other Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) systems and data sources like SunGuide and FDOT’s Vehicle to Everything (V2X) Data Exchange Platform to provide real-time data and generate appropriate alert notifications.
