Kyra’s Rafael Hernandez, Vice President of Tolling, attended the 2022 IBTTA Maintenance, Engineering, and Roadway Operations Workshop in Cleveland, Ohio. The program was designed to give attendees the tools and techniques that are needed to help make roadway facilities more efficient, organizations better prepared, and roadways safer for everyone.
This was a dynamite program was led by Chief Meeting Organizer, Chris Matta, the Chief Engineer of the Ohio Turnpike, with a great group of planners and hosted by the Ohio Turnpike Commission. A plethora of important topics were covered, including:

In addition to attending these exciting and informative sessions, Rafael participated in the service project for Boys & Girls Club and the technical tour at the Veterans Memorial Bridge lower-level subway. Here’s what Rafael had to say about his experience
In this opportunity, we the IBTTA members were blessed to be able to support the Boys & Girls Clubs of America of Northeast Ohio. More than 70 volunteers had a blast while building a brand new basketball court, and cleaning the baseball field and the greenhouse. Thanks again to Diane Gutierrez-Scaccetti (IBTTA President 2022), Pat Jones (IBTTA CEO), Jim Wilson (IBTTA Foundation President), and all the amazing volunteers and sponsors, including Kyra Solutions, Inc., for making this event happen.
